I'm sharing this with some of my best friends in the franchise.

I just completed a survey for some research wing of the PCUSA.

Feeling privileged to do it, I was also encouraged by the clarity, integrity, and non-defensiveness of the survey.

Then as I was about to submit it, I came to the inquiry about my gender; and the question went something like this, "What gender do you most closely identify with?"

SNAFU.

FUBAR.
