    It happened with Eugene and my brothers in October 2011.

    I saw and heard Him in Matthew 23 for the first time.

    It happened again with a nightmare on Michigan Avenue (scroll down for a review).

    Or has our relationship with Jesus been covered up by...

    We share culpability for what has become of the church.

    He offers an opportunity to us for what will become of the church.

    We can be born again again.

    Jesus: "First, take the logs out of your eyes; and then..."

    We went to Chicago over the weekend to celebrate a big number wedding anniversary.

    Except for Sunday morning when I looked into the sanctuary of...and could not bring myself to enter because..., we celebrated preciously pleasant providential memories.

    Exquisite.

    Ornamental.

    Vestimentum to make the Curia Romana blush.

    As he was portrayed as doing in Brother Sun, Sister Moon, the namesake of Rome's current bishop would nauseatingly weaken then faint.

    The irony was unmistakable.

    Sooooooo highly/grossly/gauchely traditional; except for Biblical, confessional, constitutional, historical, and common sense Christianity.  Indeed, it boasts shamelessly as the harbinger/herald/host of a formerly faithful part of the kingdom now only coincidental to Jesus by the book and irretrievably apostate under current management.

    Outside its doors, the poor beg for...

    Inside, a greater poverty is ignored.

    But sooooooo pretty.

    Jesus was/remains right.

    They come in sheep's clothing; but inwardly...

    Looking into the sanctuary brought Matthew 23 to mind and a word written to a young pastor on 11/29/88.

    I found it in My Utmost for His Highest on 11/15/15.

    I have two copies of OC's devotional.

    The word was in the one that I lost over decades until my wife found it and gave it back to me about a week before we went to Chicago.

    For the first time since, I opened it earlier that morning before looking into the sanctuary.

    Because I knew He knew I was playing ecclesiastical whore, I never thought it was written to/for me.

    Still not sure.

    Maybe it was written to/for...you...because the time has/is...for...you.

    Now?

Word - November 29, 1988

    "The monied flock at ___ is more interested in an extension of their country club than in an anointed vital hour of worship.  They are more deeply moved by the guilt that fuels the social, liberal gospel than by the news that this guilt can be removed without their lifting a finger to earn its removal.  They do not feel comfortable at the overuse of My name, nor the recent, blatant display of it outside their church building.  They chafe at My correction. 

    Rejoice!  Their insults have fallen on Me.

    The monied flock have long enjoyed the use of their power.  In the past, skillful compromise kept the factions in this church simmering beneath the surface.

    I was never in this compromise.

    The appearance of My chosen servant, who has unashamedly lifted Me up, has caused them to long for the manipulative compromises of days gone by.  The Jezebel spirit among them has been alerted and aroused.  They lust after the comfortable and the familiar.  They would keep their sin hidden.  They would say My chosen lacks wisdom and acts rashly.  They would shout that he offends or is merely unwisely youthful.  This noise is a clatter to My ears.

    I say TRUTH is the offense to this evil leaven.  I say watch now what happens to their money and the power they have wielded in the community.  Many Ahabs rule here, and they desire to continue to consort with their baals without interference from the pulpit.  Many have left their signet rings.  Their own seals are used by their wives to garner money and goods to hire the sons of Belial to steal the vineyards of faithful Naboths.  They cannot serve both God and mammon.

    I showed My servant in the movie Platoon what lies in the heart of man.  While I have brought him to a place of safety and peace in this ___, it is also a war zone.  The foundations for battle were laid long ago.  He merely stepped into a minefield thinking it safe because of its size.

    But all things work to his good, which will be more plain in days to come.  I desire the whole man and not his career; he knows this.  With his own heart, he has consistently asked me to use and inhabit his clay temple.  Do you not think that I will answer?  Have I not heard his cry to Me?

    I will live in this man openly.  His words are gibberish to those who have no ears to hear.  I will answer his heart cry and remove all the barriers to what I am doing in this place.

    He must not mourn their leaving.

    I will erase the carefully-learned teachings that sprang from the minds of men and leave only the bursting springs of salvation.  I will erase his tender need for the approval of man and leave only the raw passion to please Me and Me alone. 

    He has served many in his life; other masters have ruled over him; but he has made mention of my Name by my power and mine alone, and I will now arise and scatter and confuse his enemies.
