Thank you for your kind invitation.
I am sharing this with my bishop and ecclesiastical superiors that may have someone in mind for you and, at minimum, will be glad to be alerted to this religious initiative.
Frankly, or Shirley if you prefer, this is the first request of this kind that has ever come to me.
Over the years, I have had people come to me as a "L'il Abner Marryin' Sam" with the promise of taking our Lord seriously apres inviting Him to the wedding. Pero if the couples that said that were authentic about it, we'd be up to four or five Sunday worship services.
So while the evangelistic opportunity is tempting, the time investment juxtaposed to spiritual reward and honorarium seems minimal to me.
I guess I'm saying I'm no longer interested in being rented for a religious service when someone doesn't have a serious intent to include the Lord in their lives after the liturgy.
However, there was a time when I was up for a quick $500 or more and trust there will be someone out there with more bills to pay and time to spend.
